The Plough... lovely pint of Ghost ship. The Curve bar...as usual was ok for a pint en route and a nice pint of IPA but the Falcon...dear oh dear. They really need to up their game on match days. They had run out of beer and serve in plastic. Never again. Earlier in the season it was ok so don't know why it has gone so wrong.

Nowhere, because I didn't go.

Mainly because I'd been back home visiting my family while my grandad was on death's door thanks to covid and pneumonia. I would have gone to the cup game as I was in the area but obviously didn't want to potentially transmit anything onto anyone else while that situation was ongoing.

Still, knobs like you will downplay covid and its effects, not wear masks and do as you like because 'hur dur, I can'.

Thanks for your question.

So?

He comes back more than an hour later to have a go. Given what he's posted about covid before, I'm well within my rights to have a go back.

Apologies if you don't like it.

Meh. I'm judging him on his post history. Not sure why you're so interested.

Maybe go sleep it off in the back of the car.

You didn't miss much...but you don't go anyway. " Knobs like me" I'm fully vaccinated and have got my booster on Thursday. Next. Sorry to hear about your granddad. My Grandad was my hero

I'm concerned that your laissez-faire approach to covid re: masks etc is helping to perpetuate the problem, that's my concern. To see it now, again, in really stark terms just reinforces my view. I'm sorry if I, or anyone else who says this sort of thing, comes across as harsh, but I really can't stress it enough - wear a masked, get vaccinated, protect others.

I'm sorry if I come across as a dick saying it, but that's the truth.

....you can't resist replying?

I can only assume that by irrelevant, you mean that I'm not condescending, sanctimonious or preachy? They seem to be attributes that you find particularly relevant.

Your self-satisfied, pious, argumentative nature is really starting to shine through lately.

It was inevitable that it would eventually.

I guess you think it keeps you "relevant".

I never had a proper dad so my Grandad was my hero. Not saying you are the same but grandads really are hero's. Today I watched the memorial parade in Sudbury and my 80 year old mum turned up with my grandads medals pinned upon her chest. I can totally see why your grandad is so important to you. I wish you all the best

Isaacs, had a surprisingly pleasant pint of Doom Bar, Aspalls for the lad.
Sat outside overlooking the boats. Not very busy either.
Very nice it was too.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

Thank you.

He helped raise me when my own dad was either absent or being abusive. He's a man with many stories to tell who won't tell them. To be that close to losing him to this awful virus makes me so angry, and I'm sorry to say it, but people who aren't taking the proper precautions even if not explicitly told to piss me off.

Please protect yourself and others by wearing a mask, being double or triple jabbed and doing the right thing.
