....does this remove them from Dutch court jurisdiction regarding climate change demands?

But TWTD said all these large profitable companies would leave the UK after Brexit? I don’t understand.

One anomaly is not the GOTCHA moment you thought.

The fact that company is a fossil fuel entity makes it even more laughable, but then as a climate change denier I expect that point will go over your head.

TWTD never forgets…

It's the global race to the bottom Chicco, so we get some regular 'wins!'....hot on the heels of Mexico and Vietnam!

I’m sure you’re dead right about the court judgment thing. I just think it’s funny so many of the teeth gnashing squares on here aren’t getting the full throated societal collapse they so eagerly told us would happen.

Shell moving to the UK will definitely confirm that Brexit was a good decision and that the common good is enhanced.

I still find it absolutely mental that so much anger, time, money, attention, passion has been directed towards bl00dy Brexit over the past 5-10 across the UK and Europe, which in reality is all a complete load of b0llocks.

Meanwhile we've blindly trudged on, giving naff all attention and legislation to the single biggest issue that we face as a society, globally. The fact that average temperatures have increased 1.2 degrees over the past 100 years, most of which in the past 20, and that the graph is now a complete hockey stick by way of upward trajectory. We're literally creating a planet that'll be uninhabitable to humans.

Rather, we're significantly speeding up the point at which this planet will be uninhabitable to humans. It's estimated that by 2070, uninhabitable land could affect 30% of the projected human population. Let that sink in while we p1ss our pants about which fish we're allowed to catch off the coast of Folkestone.

It's the real life equivalent of rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic. If it wasn't so painfully depressing and concerning it would be funny.

If only this had been a BP leaves UK thread. I think it might have been busier! Multinationals care not one jot for national boundaries, EU or no EU.
