Both perfectly logical. The Americans have just got rid of a manager with a funny accent who was supposed to have a good record of getting teams up the leagues. Not unreasonable to think they will be looking for something different.

If they look back into our recent past they'll discover getting an ex-international name just gets you a grumpy man and Lee Martin which rules out a few more.
