But let's be honest, he doesn't always get it right.

I got a fridge magnet. The magnet isn't strong enough to stick it to my fridge. Wtf am I supposed to do with that?

Glue it on or buy a new fridge with a better magnetic attraction.

Further investigation shows the fridge magnet sticks to my coffee tin and bread bin. Seems the fridge door isnt metal (built in thing) so is my kitchen that failed not santa.

This is what u come onto Twtd for.

Until you open the post it looks like you're complaining you only got a new fridge for a present.

I was beginning to think "ungrateful sod" until I saw the rest.

You don't just go around gluing things to the fridge.

What if he wanted the space on the door for something else one day?

Then what?

I got a Toblerone. That doesn’t stick to the fridge either. Freaky coincidence or what?

Blimey, that would be ungrateful.

Currently thinking of places i can stick the fridge magnet but I fear asking on here, given it could deflect from the undoubted attention our latest newbie deserves.

OMG, what a coincidence!

I had turkey crown with a plum and ginger stuffing, from Waitrose, (I know!), with a sticky plum coating sauce.

Some of that went on the fridge and...

Well actually that needed wiping quite a bit to get it off completely.

Someone posted the other day something about lego.

Not sure about the record for fridge magnets.

I should make clear to all posters that this is my first ever fridge magnet. Imagine where this thread could do if I actually had anything interesting to say about them.

Is there anything interesting about them? Anything?

Might help if you actually said what it is.

That's all that's keeping me alive right now.

This is the magnet?

What does that mean, in this context?

Dig to the back of the fridge for a Xmas surprise?

It's code. Someone has put something nice at the back of the fridge that isn't a piece of mouldy something that's been sitting there for several months.

Subliminal message for sure. But not one I've figured out.

Think it was a Ww2 poster but why would a kid digging help the war effort?

Yes you did say, sorry.

I need to find something to watch myself.

Started a thread on it and now feel ungrateful for not following any advice.

I need a Bond film or something though, no point in starting a series whilst hitting the red wine tonight because I'll come back to it another day and not remember what's happened.

Skyped brother and family in Aus earlier. 43 today, 45 forecast tomorrow.

He's taking his 3 under 10s camping tomorrow.

I give him 2 nights before he heads home to the ac/pool.

Those are crazy temperatures.

I doubt I'd get out the bath in that let alone go out camping somewhere.

Hope he knows his stuff.

Now they will need a fridge.
