14,600 at Blackburn to see them move into the top two… 08:29 - Jan 25 with 2523 viewsunstableblue

… of the Championship and on an incredible run of form. What a paltry crowd. With a good away following from Boro to boot.

I know we’ve always had a bigger fan base than Blackburn.

But we got 20m plus for Accrington Stanley, with 150 away fans! And we are barely in a play off challenge yet.

Fans deserve to be out of this league!

I know, initially it was going to be a joke post as I was expecting to have seen a near full house but 8.8k is pathetic considering the size of the area and lack of competition for fans in the area

Most of their fans have probably gone back to supporting Man Utd since they got relegated.

And to think they were in Lg 1 a few seasons ago.

This is why we must not lose heart - it can be done, even with piddly little crowds.

Perhaps some of their supporters had fell down the 10,000 holes that the Beatles sang of in "A Day in the life"

Paul McCartney was asked if Ringo was the best drummer in the world. McCartney laughed & spluttered "He's not even the best drummer in The Beatles".
