Would a European war ... 13:28 - Feb 23 with 1044 viewsYou_Bloo_Right

.. see the cancellation of all domestic football fixtures and, should we be in or heading for the play-offs at the time, would this finally signal the end of the banter era?

Poll: Are this group of ITFC players the best squad in the division?

Maybe not, but it’ll definitely signal the end of trying to arrange that friendly with Lazio.

I think the last thing I would be thinking about if there was a WW3 would be whether ITFC's home game would be on.

it would merely signal a continuation (unless it's a very final end of all eras)!

don't remember it stopping during the balkan war though

Look on the bright side, if London gets nuked there would be half a dozen vacancies for clubs in the Premier League and everyone down to about 10th in Division 3 might get promoted. Silver linings and all that......

If history is anything to go by then we should still get a Christmas Day game.

Well you say that it’ll between Portugal and Belgium but it’ll quickly escalate. Ronaldo and Lukaku will square up but then Rüdiger will get involved prompting Shaw and De Gae to muscle in. Within five minutes it’ll be a mass European brawl.

And that is how wars escalate quickly.
