Morsy did not deserve to lose that today 19:59 - Feb 26 with 1287 viewsMullet

Really worthy of the armband type performance and if he had more faith in shooting he'd probably have scored.

Bakinson recycles the ball nicely but a bit like Thompson, in the second half both seemed to lose out to weak challenges or make odd decisions. Lots of off-key performances across the park in a game we still dominated.

Probably edges us back out of the race given we should have won at least one of the last two games. Maybe this is just Burley era nearly-men phase of squad building. Give McKenna the summer and if he maintains or improves form we win the league most likely.

It'd be nice to run it close at least for the rest of the season, but it felt like today was the reckoning and the margin for error was already too small to allow weeks like this.

Had a lovely walk along the seafront too, not many away days where you can do that.

Yes indeed sir, but we might still do it this year.

We might, but that traffic between us and a playoff spot seems to be consolidating rather than falling away.

I'd love us to storm our way through, but there's a bit of a reality check in today and scraping back a draw felt like a relief in some ways.

Only thing that concerns me is KM keeps referring to 'my time here' I know it could just be a casual saying but i do hope we can have a few years of this

I thought we missed a trick there. Seeing Morsy bombing forward and producing nothing is highly frustrating when we could have had Celina or Chaplin there being more effective. To be fair to him, he did get one shot off where Bonne should have scored from the follow up. But otherwise he looks very unsure around the penalty box. Bit if a square peg in a round hole today imo.

10/10 for effort and desire though. There’s no questioning that.

Agree. He was excellent again. Such an energetic presence and its so good at getting on the ball and driving us forward. That low centre of gravity and his touch means he's great at breaking tackles.

I liked the way he tried to get us going in the second half too when fans had gone a bit flat.

He was particularly impressive first half but, just like Tuesday, he and others faded second half. It’s like we run out of ideas and steam around the hour mark.

Thought Bakinson did pretty well.

Problem for me is neither celina or Chaplin have shown anything that different that would have made the difference you think.

Celina under Mick could score from distance, he'd make a chance from nothing. So far hes had a wordie. 2 goals inside 6 yard box and a free goal v stockdale. Chaplin.. gets himself in the box for his pot shot goals. But again doesn't create goals himself driving towards the box.

We need the celina of old imo esp in this league where he's given space, get those shots off from 20 25 yards etc

Which has been great.

I like both. Personally I'd like to see celina with aluko.

Cut a frustrated figure in his post match interview... Always hard to choose the right words when you are put on the spot , and emotions are running high or low... But, it's the first time I've heard him detract from the team, as a collective. And chose words , like, "Personnel", "Individuals" "Individual moments", etc.... Get the feeling, he feels, he's peeing in the wind a bit, As things stand... If certain others aren't pulling their weight... A certain amount of patience must wear thin. When you can see your "promotion" season, slipping away, at no fault of your own... He's been solid all season, for me (Charlton game aside, when none of them, bar Walton, turned up)... Hope he finds a bit of bounce for Fleetwood. But, in all honesty, from that interview, I'd say , the belief was fading fast..

I liked his interview honest but hopeful, part I liked about it and true leadership qualities was, after a game like that there are no positives,WE DIDNT WIN,
