Saw it last night. It’s cheesy and clearly a bit of a vanity project for Mr Cruise but it’s really good fun. Found myself grinning from ear to ear for the duration. If you liked the original then this is a must for you.

Yes, it’s basically the original on steroids. Pretty obvious what was coming on a few occasions. Same characters more or less with new names and faces....and I loved every damn minute of it. 4dx just makes it feel like you’re in a F18 at times. Rollicking good fun.

As hymns to the American military-industrial complex go it’s not bad. Also it’s pretty funny that they go out of their way not to name the “enemy country”. Tom should stop dying his hair though.
