We are in league 1 for Christ sake. Players of Santi's calibre don't tend to play at this level. With a settled team and full pre-season with a squad that hasn't been thrown together i think some players will be much more effective than last year. Squad ability is not what failed us last year. |  |

In a heartbeat, even if we take him on another season-long loan, which seems most likely to me.

I'd say it's almost certain he'll be back on a loan until Christmas, probably with an option in January. Dijon are seemingly stuck in Ligue 2 for a while to come. With one year left on his contract, it may force things along, and will probably means his sale in January. |  |

We can all see he's a very decent and talented player, but what I do question at times is he goes missing in those big games when we need him most to show he's one of the better players in L1. Does he deliver enough in those types of games and stamps his authority on those matches? Jury is still out for me. However, I'd still take him back, but on far less money than what he's currently on. | |

He would form part of a settled line up with one or two decent additions..
I suspect he will be back if a financial compromise can be reached with Dijon.

He reads the game quicker than most and alot of the time he sees passes that others don't and it breaks down attacks
If we get the right players around him. Yes.
I would however like to see how Edwards progresses under this new management team as an Edwards with end product gets picked infront of a celina. Imo. |  |
