Question on accounts incoming fees 12:54 - Jun 30 with 3304 views | PhilTWTD | Who did we get fees for in the year to June 2021? Figure totals £2.26m but I can't think who would have been in that sum other than Dozzell. Did we sell someone the previous summer I'm forgetting about?

Question on accounts incoming fees on 13:25 - Jun 30 by PrideOfTheEast | Does seem a lot. Not sure what the Bart deal was in the end but he’s the only one I can think of where there could have been a sizeable number based on appearances, milestones or something that we’d receive down the line. |
Could be. Maybe something in the Ben Knight deal or one of the similar deals, a top-up on a player signing a pro deal or something like that.

Question on accounts incoming fees on 13:48 - Jun 30 by PhilTWTD | Cheers. I should have thought to look there. But none of those, other than Dozzell, would have brought in a fee. I was right with the additions pre-end June 2021, Evans was a free. |
Further to the incoming fees, £2.85m was paid out after the accounting period, a total of £3.6m by my reckoning. [Error edited out]

Still impressive you can sign 19 players for under 4 mill which includes the sort of players that we did.

True, actually includes any loan fees played in January, if there were any, as well.
Question on accounts incoming fees on 14:22 - Jun 30 with 666 views | Icantbelieveyousaidt | I am not saying for one moment that this is the difference, but it should be worth remembering that ALL transfer fees (except if selling abroad) are subject to VAT. Sometimes the figures quoted include and sometimes exclude the VAT.

Yep, £3.6m looks right. Who suggested less? I only recall Ashton stating that the net figure was not very large at all. [Post edited 30 Jun 2022 14:29]

Actually I've got it arse about face. The suggestion was that incomings and outgoings matched one another but actually there's a profit made when all's taken into account, with the £2.26 million in the accounts and the £2m-and-a-bit-ish for Downes and Gibbs combined after the end of year.
