Tudgendhat would be my choice I think, tho in fairness a lot of them I dont know much about

I think you just need a change from the old guard.

Rishi has so much baggage in such a short time and he clearly set himself up for a campaign months ago. I think he would be a disaster.

Hunt - what an absolute wet lettuce. Can you imagine him and Starmer at the box??? Everyone would go to sleep.

Although Hunt would be quite hard for Starmer to deal with. He's distanced himself from Johnson plus Starmer's line of attack, that he is the more serious alternative to the flamboyant wreckless Johnson, wouldn't work on Hunt.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

If he's gone for it 6 months ago O think Rishi would have been a shoe in but now I agree with you.

I also think that you are right about change, tho I'm not sure the majority of Tory members will agree

You might be surprised.

Gove could do the job standing on his head but it would be too much like rolling out the same barrel.

On reflection - Wallace or Mordaunt would be ideal, I would be quite excited by either of them.

Wallace seems to have a bit of momentum but Tory leaderships often throw out a complete wild card.

Oh hells bells. Haven’t seen the news, popped into town for a spot of lunch before getting hit for a scandalous £9 car parking charge. Crazy.

I don’t think our Penny would get the support.

So I’m fecked.

Hope I’m wrong.

- unless he’s made a deal to back her.

Baker is many things, but he's quite principled and will back who he thinks will deliver the policies he supports rather than what he can get out of it personally.

Barking mad though.

Baker during the Brexit deadlock was completely unhinged. To me, quite a dangerous character to have anywhere near the corridors of power.
