We will regret Celina... 13:39 - Aug 1 with 6541 viewsITFCBlues

Unless there's someone else of equal quality lined up...

For all the "dominance" we had Saturday in the 2nd half, we still only created 1 notable chance. Isn't going to cut it over the course of the season. Was much like last season in that respect....

Not sure League One vs. Super Lig is quite the slam dunk career choice it's being presented as on here really.

Average attendance is 50-60% higher in the Turkish top division. It's a Band 2 competition for Visa purposes, so if he does want to move back to England regular football there would put him straight with the home office. If he excels with Kasimpasa, it's also possible he attracts the attention of some of the bigger clubs in the league, including Champions League teams. Kasimpasa already have a Kosovan international playing for them, so he'll presumably have at least some information about the club.

Quite. The idea a player of his calibre should be begging to join a L1 club to be financially worse off is daft.

It's a real shame and I hope we don't regret it.

I loved having Celina here, especially the second time as we're a 3rd division team.
However, if he doesn't come back, we have more than enough talented players in our squad to make a big impact on the league this season. Whilst Celina scored the best goal at PR for nigh on two decades, he could also go missing in some games. In some ways he's the ultimate luxury player.
We'll be fine without him folks.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

Celina suited this formation and we’ll be weaker without him. Question now for McK is can he make players like Harness and Edwards fit. We look ideally suited to a genuine front 3 to me, with two players hugging the touchline, a striker and Chaplin/ Aluko tucked in behind (Chaplin also a false no 9 option to mix things up). Trouble is he’s stuck on his wingbacks, so that doesn’t work. We’ve got a few now who all seem more natural playing wider (Harness, Edwards, Jackson). How’s he going to get them to click in their less preferred roles?

How can we regret not capturing a loan player? Why regret something that was not available to us, if he was available he would be here.

There are no circumstances under which we can compare what we end up with to what he might have added this season.

Let’s look forward not back.

Squads need to evolve to progress. It’s an opportunity rather than a drawback.

In a few weeks we might have a clearer view on any missing pieces, TW is open, if we need something we don’t have we have the option to get the available piece to fix this jigsaw.

We don’t have an issue creating chances, it’s finishing them that’s the problem so a goalscorer is the priority not a player like Celina. He might get a goal of the season but that doesn’t secure promotion.
