It’s not just about tonight is it? We’re building some serious momentum where everything on and on the pitch seems to be going in the right direction for a change. I’m not sure how to deal with it as it’s been so long since we had some genuine good news. Let’s hope it can carry on, but this feels very different to the couple of previous false dawns under Lambert and Cook. You can see on the pitch the effort and work that’s gone into this team from McK and his coaches. We actually look like a team. Best since Burley’s days imo. |  |

A note Northampton who at least tried to play against us, pressed us and tried to play football so hats off to them and the effort they put in, also to their fans to stay and support them to the end, well most any way.
Too easy to compliment the town as all had great games, was especially pleased with Ball and Keogh's debuts, both looked quality and fantastically assured.
Final note, the Ref, what a breath of fresh air. Fantastic game, played advantage or not if there was none to be attained, allowed strong but fair challenges, was fair through out.
