FSG put Liverpool on Sale 14:48 - Nov 7 with 1656 viewsOrangeboi373

I do wonder why? More money possibly? They were the best owners in years.

Still found I odd that some fans wanted them out because they aren't buying godlike players, as if they're team isn't good enough as it is

Yep, still a long way to go before they can win the PL or the CL...

Klopp will go in the summer imo. He's had his time.

They bought the club for about £300 million and have just seen Chelsea sold for about £4.25 billion. Can see why they think it might be a good time to take the money and run.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

I think it might be early next season if things don't pick up.

He's done too much to bin him off after 1 poor season (IMO) but if they don't hit the ground running they'll make a change

They just don't look like Liverpool of recent years. I know they lost an influential part of their side in the summer.. but with what they spend it shouldn't have had such a devastating effect.

Injuries and not investing in their midfield are killing them. Still quite reliant on Henderson and Milner in the year 2022 says it all.

Age and a widespread loss of form and confidence.

TTA and Van Dijk look off the boil and are defending without confidence.

Henderson, Thiago and Fabinho are 32, 31 and 29 respectively.
Van Dijk and Matip are 31, Firmino is 31.
Milner is, of course, ageless.

Realism perhaps. They can’t compete with oil states - and bought Scouse Frachide for a mere £300 million. If Putin’s former laundry club is really worth what the hedge fund paid - then maybe there is another hedge fund prepared to give them a few billion profit for minimal effort.

Now Putin and Russian gangsters are out of fashion it’s difficult to see who might want to take on Liverpool. That rogue frôm Ineos perhaps.

From what I read they aren't actively looking to sell it all, just welcome new investors as minority owners

US sports clubs do it all the time. LeBron James owns 2-3% of FSG for example.
