Injuries and not investing in their midfield are killing them. Still quite reliant on Henderson and Milner in the year 2022 says it all. |  |

Realism perhaps. They can’t compete with oil states - and bought Scouse Frachide for a mere £300 million. If Putin’s former laundry club is really worth what the hedge fund paid - then maybe there is another hedge fund prepared to give them a few billion profit for minimal effort.

From what I read they aren't actively looking to sell it all, just welcome new investors as minority owners
US sports clubs do it all the time. LeBron James owns 2-3% of FSG for example. |  |
