I hope I'm wrong but I can see a really poor crowd for this one at 5 on a Sunday. How many parents would take their kids at that time. In addition as has been stated public transport options are poor for home and away fans alike

See loads of kids at Tuesday night games so can’t see 5pm on a Sunday being any different.

I think clubs can refuse, not sure what that would entail.

I guess it would be down to Mark Ashton, partly.

The club put out a lot of good content; they should do an explainer video on how/why our game was chosen, if we have any say in it, etc

I sincerely hope you are right. I also hope the club are inventive when it comes to the ticketing.

Since when did games get moved for overseas coverage? Why can't ESPN just show it Saturday 3pm?

Not answering your question exactly, but I remember reading that one of the reasons for the Hillsborough tragedy was that they wanted the game to kick off on time so as not to mess up Swedish tv schedules!

That takes 11hrs48mins and gets them in at 07:29 by my rail app.

Although they may be able to move quicker between connections in London.

Just wondering. What marketing research has discovered a large cohort of world football fans hoping to tune in to watch Buxton in the FA Cup rather than Croatia in the World Cup? Serbian fans, perhaps ?

I feel for Buxton. I know they'll get a bit of cash from the coverage but you'd imagine they'd get more from it being a simple sat 3pm kickoff.
