Should never have let the ball bounce, and after he’d done that he had to close down the man on the ball because dropping off just plays the second man onside to go through and score. It was textbook what not to do in that situation.
Shame because I actually thought he did alright in his time on the pitch other than that second goal, put in some meaty tackles and moved the ball quite quickly.
Got to learn from mistakes like that if he’s gunna make it with us. | |
