Going to have a nice winter BBQ tomorrow 13:23 - Dec 16 with 5578 views | MalcolmMeatballHead | An old flame of mine has been in touch and wants to come see me tomorrow so I'm thinking of having a winter BBQ with her. The thought of sitting around a BBQ eating nice food and chatting is something I'm looking forward to. It's only a disposable one and is left over from summer. Just thought I'd share something positive for a change. It's not to everyone's liking but I'm really looking forward to tomorrow and wanted to share with you

Now you are having an impromptu bar b q at Cattawade. I might be getting the wrong end of the stick here, but doesn’t sound right.

Going to have a nice winter BBQ tomorrow on 13:55 - Dec 16 by MalcolmMeatballHead | Fair point, maybe I got carried away with the thought. It can still be done though, just cook it out the front of my flat then eat it inside. Tbf I'm not even sure if it's going to happen now as I've only just realised there's a bloody rails strike tomorrow. |
Bloody Mick Grinch getting in the way of true love malcers.

I planned on digging out an old disposable BBQ that cost me 2 quid in the summer and cook some frozen chicken legs and sausages that I have in the freezer. It's hardly as if I was planning on champagne, caviar and salmon.

Maybe he thought it would save on his power bill to cook the contents of his food bank parcel on a bar-b rather than in the oven.

Are you suggesting someone couldn't possibly need help from a food bank because they are using an old disposable BBQ?

It does. Runs from the mouth of Shotley/Harwich, through Sudbury and Haverhill, ending up at Thurlow. It's kind of a guide of where the borders of Suffolk/Essex/Cambridgeshire are.

Spot on Gainsborough. Think it does start somewhere close to the beautiful low rolling hills of Thurlow

You’d have had more chance of a legover with Champagne and Caviar mate. Remember, wine, dine and sixty nine. [Post edited 17 Dec 2022 12:01]

No River Stour River Stour. So good they named it twice. Starts around Thurlow before gently winding its way pass the splendid Chalkstone Estate in Haverhill before heading to Sturmer- clare etc.

I'm sure with all of Malcys natural charm he's not gonna need any of that. Just undoing his top button and a quick spray of Hai Karate around the pants region should do it

I was convinced you were wrong until about 5 minutes ago. I grew up on the Chalkstone estate, about 100 meters away from what we were all told was the River Stour. (which we would spend most of the summer wading around in) Just realised my entire childhood was a lie

What a lovely tour through east anglia this is, all it needs now is some photos. Perhaps Malcolm can upload some as he lives nearby.
