A little birdie tells me that Swansea don’t see him returning to play 1st team football and need money for January transfer targets, so any move would be a purchase and not a loan. Valuation sits at £1.5 million to £2 million so he is well within our sights from a valuation perspective and there has definitely been “serious interest” from Ipswich.

If they want him and we want him, Swansea are going to milk it for all it's worth. Not in Swansea's interest to accept a bid in first week of January. |
Well, the truth is that none of us know for certain, we're all just surmising.
Personally I suspect that Swansea aren't going to want to wait too long, because they'll want to reinvest whatever they get for Whittaker as early as possible in the window.
