Likely a late equaliser for yet another draw. They seem happy for them to keep drawing. They are punching above their weight in this division according to Cowley's general negativity about them anyway.

If they still have to play Wednesday, Plymouth and Barnsley, a change of manager to one who might see them at least try to beat them could be to our advantage now we have already played them.

Now Pompey are down to ten men - Pack sent off.

The Fratton Pk faithful will be seething.

No idea if illness was the cause. By the wycombe manager played a blinder if not by changing 8 players against plymouth.

a niche perspective

Shame he wasn't suspended for our match against them. At least they haven't got one of the other top 4 sides next.

If they end up losing, it will highlight how poor our result was against them, been on a poor run and will have lost 2 of their last 3 home games, with only us unable to get the 3 points.

Yep that is the worry. They were really poor against us and we couldn't find a way to win.

Question is why we didn't do that,
Answer because we think we're man city and want to walk the ball in they,
FFS shoot more it's league one not premier league,

That's my take on us,

Portsmouth’s record in the league for the last 2 months has been dreadful, we are the only team that has conceded 2 goals against them since October 1st (guess who that was against!!) and they didn’t manage a single goal against opponents in the 4 league matches prior to our visit and were comfortably beaten in many games over the period by so called “lesser teams”. There’s no sugar coating it, the game the other night wasn’t a turnaround for Portsmouth (as todays result demonstrates) it was purely an awful result against them and the reality is, that they should have won the match, we desperately need some new faces at the club and quickly.

Deffinatly, our form has dropped a lot,
We were point in front of 7 th place that's narrowed a lot,
That's just a guide to where we are now,
Will we beat Lincoln I think so,
Will we beat Plymouth 50/50,
They don't need to push a draw is fine for them,if we push to much chasing we will get done,
No way back chasing them,
Big two games coming up,

I think Lincoln is far, far from a formality, they turned us over beautifully at our place and they’ll play the same way tomorrow and history has shown us still unable to unlock these type of defensive formations and they are still unbeaten at home all season, I think a point is the most realistic outcome.

Plymouth stand a very good chance of turning us over again IMO, I’m just not seeing enough from us to think we can win it, especially given the stats I noted the other day about Plymouth being the highest scorers in the division in the last 30 minutes of games (by a mile) and us ranking is one of the higher conceding teams in the same period, does not look good to me.

If we only get a point tomorrow, and they win at Bolton, and as you say beat us their long gone,
ATM I think play offs that will massively deflate us,

"beautifully"

The last half a dozen or so posts on this thread sound like they belong on another club's forum. I am sure there are a few posters on this site who would rather we were doing badly.

There’s nothing wrong with appreciating another teams performance, they did a great number on us at our place, despite being massive underdogs going into the game. They soaked up everything we threw at them, got the goal and then fended off the kitchen sink we threw at them and saw the game out, what’s not to admire? I’d have rather us got 3 points, but we didn’t and didn’t deserve to in the end.
