Hirst will replace Jon Jules, so will rotate with Ladapo. Sometimes Ladapo will start with Hirst coming on for the final twenty minutes. Other times a Hirst will start with Ladapo coming on for the final twenty minutes.

We could drop an attacker for a midfielder and have a more balanced bench.
Hladky, Vincent-Young, Edmundson, Luongo, Humphreys, (Harness), (Ladapo)
Then striking options can rotate depending on scouting the opposition and trying to expose their weaknesses.
I wouldn't be surprised if KVY or Edmundson were sometimes left off the bench for a third attacking option, though. | |

Harness might be preferred to Chaplin when Hirst is playing upfront as they have a good understanding from their time together at Pompey. Then play Chaplin and Ladapo as the alternate pairing. Whatever the combinations, it’s a very strong looking set of attacking players McK has to choose from. |  |

I think Leigh is ahead of KVY as he tends to come to give some legs on the left once Davis is blown. Burns can be rotated with other players.
But again seems crazy that either Leigh or KVY is not included in matchday squad.
But we still have a lot of games, and injuries, suspension and form will need to be accommodated. | |
