Quite surprised not to see Plymouth high on the list... They seem to score a goal from outside the box, against us every time they try...
EDIT. And this does dispel the myth that we are always trying to walk it in, or score the perfect team goal.. [Post edited 28 Feb 2023 15:14]

Interesting when it's broken down by area:
Outside the Box 192 Shots. 13 Goals. 14.8 shots per goal
Inside Penalty Area 340 Shots. 30 Goals. 11.3 shots per goal
Inside 6 Yard Box 43 Shots. 17 Goals. 2.5 shots per goal.
I think there's some conflation between 'we don't shoot enough from outside the box' and 'we don't shoot quickly enough in transition'. Probably more in the latter that there are times that we play it safe in transition rather than gamble and go for a goal. | |

I used the WhoScored website for this. If you go to the link below and select the 'Detailed' tab you can then filter by Shots or Goals, Per 90 or Total etc.
