Oxford and Pompey aren’t particularly near Yorkshire. There does need to be some objectivity

I suspect so - I'm just having a look at it now. Mine's showing in Euros, but the figures allowing for approximate exchange rate are in the same ballpark. It makes a mockery of comments about us by the likes of Cowley. Take with a pinch of salt, but these are the teams 'worth' more than €10M. And there's a whole bunch then in the €9Ms. Derby County €23.60m Bolton Wanderers €16.73m Ipswich Town €14.95m Portsmouth FC €14.45m Sheffield Wednesday €13.35m Barnsley FC €12.55m

Whilst I take all of these valuations with a huge heap of salt, his stock certainly has fallen. But then, the Budgies have always seemed to be good at getting high end fees for their players. Ever since Robert Chase demanded £5m for Chris Sutton in the 1990s and made him the most expensive player in English football.
