That is not a 'soft pen' it is a dive. Stop condoning cheating.

You mean the deflected strike at HP, where as part of a slide tackle, the ball cannoned off of Scarr's shin, came back off Ladapo's shin and then went back over the top of Mike Cooper and into the net?

Also this link very cleary shows there WAS contact for the pen (although I'm not going to pretend he hasn't made a meal of it - but it's quite clearly a pen as his foot was stood on) -

There’s nothing wrong with deflected goals and they’re not an injustice like bad refereeing decisions but I wouldn’t call Ladapo’s goal fortunate. Argyle defended well in the game at Home Park but a lot of it was last ditch, throwing bodies on the line. It’s a legitimate way of defending but every time you don’t clear the ball early and rely on a heroic block you increase the chances of the ball looping over the keeper.

It's a shame Wednesday don't look like imploding as their fans are a bunch of wet wipes who don't deserve success. The Argyle fans that post on here are of a significantly higher calibre of fan and it'd be nice if we could go up with them.

Not what you were saying about the foul on Chaplin at your place...

I don’t see the cheat thing, they were quite lucky against us as you say deflected shot at PR and for me a foul on Chaplin for first at home park. They have had a great season.

Fine margins isn't it. There recruitment has been exceptional as has the home form. Lost Whittaker in January and some key players through injury since and still going strong. Fair play to them.

We had a number of chances to further the lead at Home Park and spurned them

I actually think we played better at Plymouth than we did at Portman Road, albeit limiting Plymouth to fewer chances at Portman Road

Once Plymouth took the lead, we didn't look so threatening though in fairness

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Would be interested in a PAFC fan view of the replacement keeper - I haven’t seen it but I think the DCFC goal might again be one that Cooper would have prevented - I wonder what those XGa outperformance stats look like now. It is the one chink of light I see - there is much more of a chance of argyle dropping late points as a result of a calamity

I've always said if they made the penalty area a lot smaller it'd be interesting to see how many players then decided to stay on their feet, right now it's getting laughable..

When you have the likes of Shearer saying if the player feels contact he's entitled to go down then you know the game is lost, and cheating has won..

I really like Plymouth, which makes it a pity its them rather than Sheffield Wednesday that we're vying with, but obviously - after Town of course - I'm supporting anyone that is playing them between now and the rest of the season, whilst hoping that that Sheffield Wednesday have a staggering though incredibly unlikely collapse.

It’s a tale of two teams home performances really . Plymouth rarely lose …. We have dropped far too many points . It’s the home form that’s costs us .

Plymouth have lost the same number of home games as we have.

Indeed we’ve lost less games than them overall - it’s those draws that have damaged us.

That’s why I was excited about the Broadhead signing and he’s not dissapointed. Makes you wonder if he’d have made the difference if we’d signed him in the summer. Fine margins and all that…
