One thing I would say, having visited friends in both Barnsley and Accrington tonight and seen a bit of both games - we're spoiled with the quality of football we see from Town, compared to any of the other top sides.

I kinda want a Barnsley win as it gives them more on wycombe and if they lose just before playing us. They may feel top 2 is gone but settle for playoffs and relax against us..

I think you're right there (especially post-edit!).

Look at it this way - if we knew Town would beat Barnsley next time they play, who would we rather win tonight?

It makes sense to let Barnsley have the win tonight in that case. And for Town to kick Barnsley butt when the day comes.

Edit: Liam Kitching also agrees! (FT 4-2 to Barnsley...anyone else remember a 4-2 involving Barnsley?!)
