We are the best team in the league and will go up as champions.

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

I think we are the best team but I’m not convinced we will go up as Champions or even automatically , Peterborough and Barnsley will be huge and are very very tough.

Positive that if we fail, we will be very strong in the play offs though.

The only Muff in Town.

Being the best in the league doesn’t guarantee you promotion as champions. Although I hope your right.

Both those teams will play some football.
I am convinced we will will not lose those games.

It's only about two people flouncing in fairness and we could have predicted those in advance. It was frustrating today as we were in control but missed good chances and gifted them a goal through an error. Three points today would have been massive so it's disappointing, but we're still a very good side and it remains in our hands.

Agree with that summary.

There are actually more Noggin posts about the flouncing (4) then there are flouncers

This was a cunning move today to lull Peterborough and Barnsley into thinking they can get something from us so that they come out and play, and then.... heh-heh-heh

Don’t get me wrong we could come out with 6 point’s definitely , or possibly with zero. feels to me Plymouth and Wednesday are still favourites, but any slip ups and we are on it.

It doesn’t but it does give you the right to be assessed over 46 games.

Thanks to fixtures and having a point or two advantage I tend to agree they are favourites - slightly. We’ve gone from play off contenders to well and truly in it though. It’s been a damn good effort.

I’m not too bothered about Peterborough and Barnsley. They’re going great guns but at the moment, but the better the team, the better we tend to play. In the ten games against the top two, Bolton, Derby, Peterborough and Barnsley, we’ve lost once so far and been outplayed by none of them.

We are in this and let’s face it come what may, we are progressing and a disappointing draw at a windy little dump (I have seen a match there) doesn’t change that.

Why do you make them favourites? Both of them are in much worse form than us over recent weeks, both have injuries to key players and not much squad depth to keep things fresh over a hefty run of fixtures in April. It's in our hands that if we win every game we have left we will go up, and of the current top 3 we look the side most capable of stringing together 6 wins at the moment.

I don't think our flounce army pays any attention whatsoever to what goes on outside the ITFC bubble.

Cheltenham turn every game into an ugly battle of attrition. It doesn't mean we didn't play well. Cheltenham's tactics, the narrow pitch (and the conspiring weather) were designed to stop us playing our usual brand of football. Cheltenham grid out loads of draws at home, it was a par score - and I reckon we don't have a tougher game than that remaining. On form obviously Barnsley and Boro are, but in the context that they will probably come out and play, I suspect these will be more like the Derby and Bolton games - I predict we will win at least one of them, if we beat Barnsley, they're out of the equation.

Sheffield Wednesday are 17th in the form table and have a tough game away to a resurgent Burton next. Bristol R will also not be a gimme away and they have Derby on the final day who might well need to win that to secure POs. Moreover their win on Monday, their first in SEVEN games, is hardly cause for optimism that their form has returned. They have a lot to do to match however many points we accrue, with a game in hand.

Plymouth are only 6th in the form table and have just lost at home to Linco. Their auto promotion hopes are largely based on their impenetrable home form so where that leaves their confidence now is a big question. On top of that they have 2 West Country derbies coming up now, the effect of that cannot be underestimated. Can anyone imagine how much Norwich would want to put a dent in our promo hopes if we still had to play them. Plymouth have a lot to do.

It's a 3 horse race for 2 spots and basically 1 point in it (adjusting the games in hand at 2ppg) in a 6 game mini season. Absolutely nothing in it. It's all to play for. But anyone looking at the Cheltenham result and thinking "we've blown it" or losing their nerve isn't looking at the bigger picture, that is for sure.
