Indeed, Saturday is potentially the day. If we clinch promotion, it will be the first time we have won anything at Portman Road since 1962, won't it? It would surely unleash the biggest celebration in Town for more than 60 years.
The only other rival to it that I can think of is the Bolton PO semi final in 2000, but that was a midweek game and would have concluded after 10pm, not long before the pubs shut and midweek. |  |

bah humbug :) I was at Wembley, will be at Oakwell tonight and I'm actually more excited today. Wembley I was more relaxed as we'd beaten them twice in the season and knocked on the door for so many years. Tonight there is still a lot of uncertainty, as we have risen so far, so fast - and momentum going into this game is with both teams. Nope sorry. Was at Wembley as a teenager mind. This is no where near that. Was also at bolton play off semi final. That was the most nail biting game of football I have ever watched. Sooo good. This feels very different. It's league 1 for a start. This feels like we are going back to where we belong. Wembley felt like we were reaching beyond. | | | |
