that he doesn't want to go to the football on Saturday, I'd just like to let you know that I'll happily help out by buying his ticket from you.
I'm well behaved, wash frequently and can keep myself to myself (but can be noisy at times - particularly in breaks in play when 'Blue Army' is ringing round Oakwell) so would not disturb your family outing if I'm sitting next to you. DM me if you need a hand...
It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

TBF, I have seen Exeter before - I was one of the 5000 or so who witnessed the legendary 5-1 Worthington cup win in '98. TWTD...
Wasn't that the game when Paul Mason came back from long-term injury and rifled in our fifth goal from an angle? North Stand chanted "Mason is back, Mason is back..."

Yes, that's the one. It was a replay. Can you imagine the uproar if anyone suggested the League Cup had replays these days?

Didnt he score a fantastic volley, massively underappreciated due to the occasion? Or was that another game. He did have quite a highlight reel...

And it was pretty much the last thing he did as an Ipswich player - it was his final game for the club. Lovely goal from Treacle that night.

Yep that was the one, vicious angled volley, I have a feeling it was pretty much his last major act in a Town shirt too.
Yeah, think you are right about that as I seem to recall seeing the goal (on TV, dont actually recall going) and being pleased that it meant he was going to make an impact again. Only for it to be the end.

It's at the 30 minute mark here. What a trip down memory lane this reel is!

I literally just came here to say Id just spent about ten minutes getting drawn into watching this! He was a really fine player, some great goals here, in fact most of them are either excellent composed finishes, or smashed in from distance. SomethingBlue remembered better than me, I think the goal i was thinking of is the one v Palace at about 27 mins in that video, scored from a long distance. But I was getting it confused with the Exeter one and thinking it was his last.
