Great point. Private enterprise is always best. There are very few examples of private companies completely fvcking things up. Never. Trains, prisons, welfare, electricity, gas, banking, water……..what a country! |  |

Our politicians have certainly got better since they’ve become more “entrepreneurial” and started looking after private interests.
Well, better at monetizing their roles as “democratic representatives” and getting paid. It’s another triumph of the market! |  |

If only we could choose to invest £2.4Bn in the NHS!
Government announcement of this over 15 years (actually less than £200M per year) which amongst the benefits would save £10Bn on agency spending ... more than 4 times the stated investment!
The inability of this Government (and previous ones of the same colour) to manage public sector spending is ridiculous!
