Does anyone else feel that we don’t want a shirt with an underlying pattern? 22:42 - Jun 30 with 1553 viewsunstableblue

Like last season?!

I feel that’s what we’re going to get though.

Whilst I kinda liked last season’s Cobbold inspired pattern - was it really that classy and enduring?

Prepares to get shot down.

Not important imo, and it’s a trend anyway so I fully expect it. As long as it doesn’t make us play like a bunch of pansies, I’ll be happy.

Not classy and enduring ?

It was a shirt style that deviated from the norm and will be best remembered as the shirt we wore when we got promoted. It will absolutely last the test of time.

Probably the best shirt we've had for over 20 years - great bespoke pattern, stylish design, classy sponsor and lots of brilliant memories associated with it. Wear it, turn it into a bucket hat, hang it on your wall because it's an absolute stunner

Of the 7,829 different thoughts that have raced through my head today, underlying pattern on a football shirt was not one of them.

Given last year's merch sales - I would say say it is popular and will be embraced again.

Looking at the released badge picture it seems obvious there is an underlying chevron pattern and given the "Orwell waves" in the badge this makes perfect sense to me.
