Didn't get to watch it last night, but looks like "Lacky" made some quality saves.

Yep, he looked a very capable understudy didn’t he. Some really sharp saves in those highlights.

Other standouts for me (from those highlights) - a couple of lovely little passes from Aluko, a poor mistake from Burgess when caught in the press, Jackson looked up for it on the wing and all together some lovely interplay around thier box in the first half.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

That Burgess backpass incident is a bit of a warning that Championship sides might be better organised at pressing than our League One opponents and we could see a goal or two conceded from errors in passing out.

Not that it matters one jot, but I thought Gentile was defo offside for that last gasp 'goal'

Absolutely no doubt about it. No idea why he complained.

To be fair to Burgess, the ball went out for a throw in the build up, and it was a really daft ball from Walton. No idea why he thought that pass was a good idea.

To the point he had to be dragged away by his teammates. In a friendly.

It's a tough balancing act imo

Burgess has improved incredibly. His height is useful of course and he's got better on the turn.

But.. do you sacrifice his height and no nonsense mindset at times for another ball playing cb or stick with him..

a niche perspective

Good shot stopper. Makes me nervous at crosses. He's not the tallest or most dominant. But as has been said he's a capable number 2.

Poll: Who do we think McKenna (not you) will partner Greaves with ?
