All this talk of signing/not signing players..... 17:45 - Aug 21 with 4084 views | Bloots | ....is a bit unilateral isn't it? Excluding the previously discussed potential departures, Edwardo, Baggy, Humphers, Greggers etc, I wonder if we are going to get any big offers for any proper first teamers? I wonder if some crap Prem teams (Luton, Sheff U, Burnley, Everton, Man U), or one of the Champ parachute boys, would chuck some money at anyone? £8m for Samy? £10m for Wolfy? £12m for Broady? £15m for Leify? Ashton would love it. What would it realistically take? (note realistically, remembering this is a business)

All this talk of signing/not signing players..... on 22:53 - Aug 21 by vilanovablue | Safe to say he is our most valuable asset. Broadhead and Clarke have potential, Hirst hopefully. They need to demonstrate it in the champ. Walton possibly nut he is older. I'd be amazed if we don't lose one of those, not this summer, but... |
I refuse to believe Broadhead is 25. He looks about 12.

All this talk of signing/not signing players..... on 19:08 - Aug 21 by Keno | Having you seen the JD rumours seems Real Madrid have offered £12mill I think they have undervalued him a bit |
£12m for a RB that is now firmly second choice… good money if we can get it

One of the goalies may go, but seeing as Walton is injured that's unlikely. If the idea is a Premier League place unless someone offers silly money and we have an immediate replacement I cannot see past mistakes happening again where a player that is very important to the team is sold and no replacement is able to be brought in. At some stage Gamechanger will want a return on their money, but it is important to them that Premier League status is achieved and that Town find a few gems to sell on. This may take another two or three seasons. The players that have been brought in don't in my opinion fit into the criteria of being targetted by clubs in the Championship or the Premier League.
