I think we all agree that the two most pressing positions are CB/ST 15:21 - Aug 30 with 3892 viewstractorboy1978

So for a bit of fun, who do people think we end up with?

I am going Scarlett on loan - ST
Either Tuanzebe (free) or Mengi (loan/permanent) - CB

When Mck says he's one of the best young strikers in world football you listen to him over pompey fans!

He really isn't one of the world's best young strikers, be honest. KMK was p!ssing up his back at the time. He is hardly going to say he is cr@p now is he?
I don't think you will find him that awe inspiring if he comes here. He just never looks that great. Same as Taylor. I said at the time ld watched lots of Peterborough. And at the moment he is play no different to he did there. He isn't pulling up any trees here either.
I'm actually really disappointed with the summer transfer business after we were basically promised so much by Ashton and Kieran.

A centre back who combines the best of Woolfie and Burgess, who would be comfortable playing with either of them…van whatshisname, and a centre forward who is at least and hopefully more effective than Hirst would be ideal.

I would like to see a CB that can play between Woolfie and Burgess in a three. Our two have great qualities but there is often a huge disconnect between the two sides of our defence with one or other of our CBs isolated.

You hang on every word Kieran says, as do many. Don't get me wrong l like the guy and he knows his stuff but l think he was taking the micheal when he said that a little bit. DS really isn't any better than a lot of kids his age.

No, I don't agree with the OP... The only position we really need an extra body is up front.. Anything else is a bonus/squad filler...
Of course, everything comes down to what conversations were had with KM when signing his new 4 year deal..But I doubt if the remit was automatic promotion.? More likely a top half finish, judging by our recruitment...

I'll trust McKenna's judgement over yours. He's worked at two of the top academies in the country, he's pretty well qualified to appraise young players. You, on the other hand, are some mook on the internet with a penchant for overly negative hot takes. I'll be honest, it's not a hard call to decide whose opinion to put my faith in.

You've spelt 'poorly disguised budge' wrong mate.
