Just goes to show you’re never too old to learn and that decent coaching can pay dividends , if the person really wants it. It should also be a lesson to the young wannabes in the game today who see the £ signs before they’ve been prepared to work for for it. | |

He had many skills, but his (trampoline) touch was probably his weakest. But take the last game, his touch was so much better.
What's also impressive about his strike rate is that he didn't score for ~10 games. |  |

His movement is always top class, if you watch him when the ball is out wide and he is in the box he is always finding space and taking up dangerous positions. Both his goals against Cardiff are great examples of this. | | | |
