We currently have 25. There are 45 on offer between now and the end of 2023.

Coming to the end of December last year, Burnley - who romped to the Championship title - had 47 points. We'd need to win around seven games to match that, seven out of 15 left before the new year.

Puts our start in perspective.

That's true but it's worth noting that Burnley started fairly slowly.

I will assume your numbers are correct which means that (assume the same number of games up to NE):

Burnley PPG to NE: 1.88
Burnley PPG after NE: 2.57

I think the main point to remember is that we have had a brilliant start. The best of any promoted team ever and the 3rd highest points total after 10 games (amazing given Leicester are ahead of us).

Also fairly amazing that Sheff United could lose 11 matches last season and still finish second by 11 points.

Leicester will do a Burnley. I will over the moon if we do a Sheff. Utd. Totally amazing what this squad is achieving. Basically the same as last season and performing like this is just fantastic. Can see us finishing top 6 which would be so impressive for all concerned.
