Afc bournemouth on 09:11 - Oct 8 with 3128 views | HighgateBlue | I just don't see why Kieran would consider them over us. He's still young, he'll get his chance. We are the 'devil you know' in terms of owners and senior management, we're on an upward trajectory, he's getting a chance to build his reputation rather than fire-fight, we have more fans, a bigger stadium. And we're going up! There's a very real possibility that we're in a higher division than them next year. Kieran is not so short-sighted as to see that. There may be a couple of clubs that would make us vulnerable to losing Kieran, but I don't think Bournemouth is one of them.

All that being said, Bournemouth is a lovely part of britain to live, their squad isnt bad on paper but they need a competent manager. For what it's worth think carrick would be a much better fit for them

What can you achieve there though? Staying up? The top managers want to win things. He's got a chance to do something truly special here - back to back promotions looks better on his CV than anything he could realistically achieve with Bournemouth in the short term.

He would be mad to swap Bournemouth for us and I cannot see it happening. The same applies to a number of clubs. We are, and in my view always have been, a bigger club than the Cherries. The only difference until now is that they had a rich Russian backer who bought them a place in the Premier League. Wouldn't even surprise me if we replace them at the end of this season. There are probably many examples of a manager rejecting offers from clubs at a higher level, and all based on future potential rather than the here and now. Here's one for starters - Alex Ferguson turning down Wolves when he was at Aberdeen.

Afc bournemouth on 12:24 - Oct 8 with 2816 views | ITFC_Forever | It’s a proper battle to the bottom in the Prem. One of Sheff Utd, Burnley, Luton and Bournemouth will survive by virtue of being not quite as dreadful as the others. Everton and Wolves won’t be much further ahead.

I still think Burnley will be fine. They need to stop leaking goals but they carry a threat and they've had a fairly horrific fixture list to contend with thus far.

Iraola is a more than competent manager. For one reason or another it's not clicking yet at Bournemouth- hopefully for him (and Bournemouth) he is given more time. Michel at Girona may be the next one to move to the Premier. Comes across as a lovely guy, overachieving with a young Girona side and playing very good football.

They’re a fourth-tier club overachieving thanks to their plucky Russian billionaire owner. The idea that KM would lower himself to go there is utterly mad.

He may well be good in la liga, however he may well not be suited yo the english game. There's no shame in that but thus far looks like bournemouth have gone backwards rapidly under him

When I watched the highlights I started to think 'Who could we recruit from them when they get relegated ?' The thought that might fire Ireola and try and employ McKenna never entered my mind.

Afc bournemouth on 21:43 - Oct 8 with 2317 views | MattinLondon | Bournemouth looked appalling especially so as Everton are dreadful as well. I really can’t see KM going to any PL team that’s currently in the bottom eight. Come Christmas one of those teams will be so desperate for improvement that they’ll appoint Frank Lampard. I can see the Plymouth manager (if they are around the playoffs) going to Everton but I really think that KM won’t be interested in any bottom(ish) PL job.
