Honestly what a time in Town history this is

Massive backing and validation of the McKenna project

29k plus fired up to come and watch just great football

Just really hope we get a display and result tomorrow to reward this level of enthusiasm

Love it

So we've not sold out? Disappointing.

The population of Ipswich is 150,000. Obviously the surrounding area takes a good percentage of seats but that is a seriously good uptake considering we could sell more.

Now 3 tickets Herbie

But you’re right it’s an outrage it’s not sold out… I blame Clegg, or Mick, or Keane, or Jewell, or Evans…. No definitely Lambert’s fault

Nervous about tomorrow, Plymouth and Schumacher know us, but they won’t have the confidence that had last season.

Into them early and hopefully a big win, could be a 6-4.

Could be anything. Reckon we win 2-1 in a nervy close match. 2-0 up by half time, only for them to score after about 50 minutes. Squeaky bum time from there in. We could just as easily win it 3-0. The only thing I am confident of is a Town win.

As good as our support at the moment I never buy this argument really.

Suffolk has a population of 750k doesn't it? (Even if it doesn't have the greatest transport links). Combine that with a lack of sizeable clubs in north Essex and our catchment is absolutely huge compared to say south Yorkshire, greater Manchester or areas of the Midlands.

Finally we have got a group that can capitalize on it again.

I see us as a 40-45,000 size club, if we are top half Premier league on a regular basis.

No I agree, it's just I've heard 150k thrown around previously but in reality for professional football the catchment is huge.

The away following is second to none at the moment, just in credible numbers.

It’s crazy how many Town shirts I see in North Essex now.

Took the kids to Legoland on Tuesday and there were several Town shirts on show there too. We saw at least 7 or 8.
