Here we go. We've won at Southampton and Sunderland so clearly we aren't going to play like that against every side that's going to be up there. We conceded poor goals at the worst possible times today against probably the best organised defensive side in the league. Frustrating but let's not be over dramatic about it. |

I said before, not sure whether it was this thread or another, I think the second gaol was a bigger killer than the first. We worked our way back into the first without looking threatening. We came out on the front foot after the break, forced a corner and then... that seemed to kill us completely. | |

A big part of how ineffectual we were was West Brom playing excellently, going man for man and simply not letting us play at all. They’ve conceded 7 goals at home all season and I believe barely (if at all) dropped a point after going ahead in a game.
There’s a section of our fanbase (not saying you necessarily) that think we should be dominating every game. It doesn’t happen in this league unfortunately. And it doesn’t need to happen in order to go up. Sheffield United lost 11 times last season for context. | | | |

Both teams got what they deserved from the game, WBA deserved to win and we just didn't deserve to get anything from the game. First time, in a long time, that subs came on with nothing to prove and player being replaced had been below par.
