First time we’ve really been given a lesson under McKenna 19:42 - Nov 25 with 4827 viewsSomethingBlue

I mean, it was always going to happen wasn’t it - it’s taken 17 games after promotion and I’m sure we will use it well. West Brom had the combination of better players and excellent coaching that will always prove difficult. McKenna will know the things we need to add, particularly in terms of speed and physicality, and it’ll take several transfer windows. For now we have one of the toughest away games done, with little harm to our buffer in the league, and two good home fixtures coming up. Nothing to be too anguished about and no fingers to be pointed.

Can't disagree with that... encouraging thing for me was that when we had control of the game first half you could absolutely see us finding a goal.... had we not conceded early I think we eould have been very pleased but goals do absolutely change games... although a good opponent, I truly believe on our day we could beat them

What part of "I'm not comparing the content of the threads" are you struggling with?

I've disagreed with every bit of drivel I've read of yours during and after yesterday's game. I could've compared the arrows of SB's post and ANY of your posts. Most of them are on minus scores. For a reason.

Which ones then. And how do you disagree with them? What's your counter point?

You all do this counter posting yet apart from talking about previous games or what the future may bring. You're not what brave enough to share your actual opinion on the football itself played yesterday..

Which of my game points do you disagree with?

Could Davis not have been tighter to stop the cross?
Could he have not done better when marking is man at the corner
Could Burgess have done better when he was being turned time and time again.

These are just a few of the in game thoughts.. so are you saying Davis did all he needed to do and Burgess done well?
Could Burns have not done better with the chance he had. Could he have not done better with the ball when he did have opportunities to play hirst in.

After the game. Apart from the OP we've just discussed. What else do you actually disagree with about the game the performances we've been having.. remembering the manager and players themselves said they didn't feel they had been performing well.

Go on have a go. Discuss football. Its not difficult.

a niche perspective

I said at half time that I thought WBA were well organised but nothing special and the game was there for the taking. The early second half goal totally killed it after we'd started on the front foot and that was very disappointing, after that they naturally looked a lot more comfortable and contained us easily but at 1-0 it was a libe game that we could have got something from, just frustrating we also conceded early so we gave them a headstart in the first place.
