Not really, as he was very good before he was dropped. So we’re still none the wiser as to what went on there. Whatever it was it hasn’t helped us, as when we now need the backup he’s looked leggy and off the pace. |  |

Agree with all you've said, but Williams in particular looks off the pace and lacking confidence.
I'm not criticising the guy, more so those posters who have been regurgitating rumours as to why he wasn't playing.

If the rumours are true, then that type of thing would also impact fitness and confidence. So it only disproves something if you pretend it does. | |

We've struggled as a team tonight. We're not on top and pushing them back which is where his strengths are.

Ball's been ok. Ladapo poor. Williams awful. Making bad reads and getting pulled out of his slot defensively, doesn't seem to understand the RB role for us which is ridiculous, and just not executing simple passes. Yes Chair is dangerous but it's much more than that. I'd be tempted to hook him for Taylor and slide Ball to RB but McK doesn't seem like the type (which is probably good) |  |
