That's a bargain. Talking of piling misery on Plymouth ... I wonder if Ryan Hardie would be on our radar, and what they'd value him at? I like him, clever player and moves well up top, has a great record this season given he's had a couple of lay-offs. Signed a new deal last summer but it was only three years. Seems settled there but Schumacher's departure may have upset the apple cart. Obviously a player we know very well. [Post edited 3 Jan 2024 15:39]

Agreed. Hardie looks a good player and about the best of those suggested.
If things are unsettled at Plymouth, maybe there’s an opportunity there, but I suspect that if his relationship with Schumacher is good, Stoke is where he will go. They’re not exactly short of money.

Stoke spent quite a bit in the summer IIRC, so can't imagine they're in a position to spend big again this window? |  |
