The applause for Mogga 15:26 - Feb 24 with 1652 viewsZx1988

Did anyone else find that surprisingly emotional?

I suppose for me, at 35, he's the first of my original team and the first of my legends to ail more because of age than bad luck.

Get well soon, Mogga.

It does sound bad so I hope it all goes well for the big man.

Goes to show the importance of regular medical check-ups.

Hopefully whatever it was has been detected nice and early.

39, I’ve loved Mogga since I was about 13.
For me he’s what a CB should be. That Wembley goal. His headers back to Wright ❤️

Plus his late, late equaliser at Ewood Park against Blackburn

Defo a little too young to recall that.

But Mogga was the be all and end all for me. Biked down from chantry to watched training one day, and he got us as he walked off, gave a big talk about what football meant to him… then an even bigger ‘why aren’t you at school’ (we were on a lunch break) I never want him to depart this earth, a proper hero for me

Not at the applause, but felt emotional watching all of us sing his name in unison with the Brum fans . That was very emotive..

Maybe we should do that on every game at 5 mins? Certainly at home.

I’ll be honest, at some point in every day since that day, I think about how he rises for that header

And his header down to Magic for one of his goals in the Bolton p/o semi after he was pushed up front by George
