If you don't buy a ticket, you don't win the raffle.

15 goals scored from 80 plus minutes onwards too. It goes to show how good and progressive our bench options are and the fact that we keep going till the last kick. A mark of a promotion winning team in my opinion.

Lessons learnt from last year. Plymouth doing the same in League One was probably the difference in the end.

I don't know where he got the deflected goals from as the Opta data is different. I did a 'Luck Difference' table here adding up OGs For+Deflected Goals For vs OGs Against/Deflected Goals Against and the results were 'interesting'

Genuine question, but what are these 8 deflected goals.

Off the top of my head I can think of...
Broadhead v Sunderland
Ladapo v Cardiff
Taylor v Rotherham
Chaplin v Plymouth
Morsy v Leicester

What are the missing ones??

Does "deflected goals" also include own goals and would that explain the difference?

The goal logs are all here: https://fbref.com/en/squads/b74092de/2023-2024/goallogs/c10/Ipswich-Town-Goal-Lo

Deflected:
Chaplin v Leeds
Chaplin v Sheff Weds
Harness v Hull
Sarmiento v Birmingham

OG:
Rodon vs Leeds
Mumba vs Plymouth
Vestergaard vs Leicester
Harding vs Millwall
Galloway vs Plymouth

I think deflected goals that were going wide count as OG

A cannon and then in-off.

Leicesters are the real beneficiaries on xGA at the moment - their xGA per game is 1.14 but they're only conceding at a rate of 0.89. Compare that to Ipswich and Southampton, who are both conceding at a rate of 1.29 per game, but their xGA is 1.16 and 1.12 respectively.

Leeds are slightly in favour as well, with xGA (0.98) higher than goals conceded (0.80)

2 points for canon, 3 for an in-off.

We won that game 5-1, where's our points?

Only 3 for an in-off the red, two for an in-off yur opponent's ball (oo-err)?

But as red rhymes rhymes with head and the second deflection was off Vestergaard's bomce, I make you right.
