Hladky made a surprise visit to my son’s Ipswich footy training in Cambridge tonight. Was brilliant with the boys and joined in their game playing outfield and absolutely wiped out one of the poor lads with a cracking tackle! My son got to speak with him and have his photo taken with him and came back buzzing. I was a bit angry with my son though as he failed to ask hladky what his favourite cheese was. I told him he had let himself, TWTD and the Club down |  |

My lad got to train with these fellas when he was about the same age
Britton was superb with the kids, constantly playing the deep lying playmaker and setting them up. Trundle on the other hand was smashing 10 year olds out of the park if it meant he could get a shot off  . Uber competitive, it must have ended up Trundle 32 - kids 1. The kids loved it though. Got a few bruises, but thought it was fantastic. |  |

This was in the 18/19 season, so a long time after any likely links with us. He was down in the local Welsh leagues by then.
Mind you, even then he was hell of a player and technically would have been better than anyone we had that season. He wouldn’t have had the legs though. | |
