A point in a tough away game 22:24 - Apr 27 with 1211 viewsRobTheMonk

Zoom out a little. We’re on 90 points in the Championship with two games to play.

Hull was going to be the toughest game with them chasing playoffs. We created a lot of good chances in the second half. The goals we conceded were all poor though. I would put the first down to Hladky not playing Morsy a kind ball, the second Luongo doesn’t track and the third was just bad defending and goalkeeping. Perhaps the wake up call that was needed for the following games ahead, but still, an away point in the toughest game on paper.

Coventry should be knackered.

Huddersfield are all but down.

Southampton will want to get back to winning ways.

Leeds confidence will be low.

Loads to be positive about going into the next few games. Just get the ball to Hutch and tell him to run at everyone haha!

Problem is those last two games are now real pressure games that we have to win yo be sure of promotion since our goal difference is inferior.

I'd feel better if Coventry had something to play for like Hull. But if they do indeed sit back.. how are we going to break it down when we've struggled to do so against those sort of sides.

I just don't wanna see a loss Tuesday.

At home sat I think batter huddersfield enough and you'll win. Bit coventry it needs a professional performance front and back to make sure we don't fall behind.

a niche perspective

We probably could have done with either Norwich and WBA winning earlier or playing the Hull and Coventry games the other way round.

That was a hell of a game situation away from home to come back into after a fortnight off, regardless of how rested we were. We done well to get a point really and to be disappointed we didn't win is an (albeit strange) positive to take from that.

You should try following us a bit closer, we need 4 points not 6.

If it had been a mid-season game, we'd have been quite pleased with the outcome and just said "we move on".

Which I have a feeling is what KM probably said in the dressing room a few minutes ago.
