IMO it’s very much “quantity over quality” for coffee shops in Hadleigh. Paddy & Scott is probably the best but it’s ok, nothing more.

I always liked the Cherry Tree in Woodbridge.

Mainly because the open at 10.30am..

The Missus and I always go to the Cumberland Fish Bar in Woodbridge - great fish & chips and polite, speedy service.

(I know - it's not exactly "ligh lunches" but I just had to mention it).

Honey and Harvey is just expensive.

I would endorse The Woodyard and also give a vote to The Whistle-stop Cafe near the station.

Cherry Tree is good too.

Best pub probably The Anchor.
