It'll no doubt be us next summer or the summer after.

I'd imagine, with the US ownership, we are perfectly marketable over there for the next lot of US PL fans that are ready to pick a club.

The days of the local fans being the most important to the club are long since gone at that level. It is what it is sadly.

I was speaking to a Man City fan (he’s supported them for decades) and he’s convinced that they aren’t bothered about traditional local support - that the club would rather have tourists who will spend hundreds in the club shop.
