Fascinating appointment. I think the football he wants to play has a very high ceiling and Chelsea have a very good squad who showed that they were capable of being decent towards the end of last season.
I'm just not sure how the fit will go and if he can get over his lack of Plan B that saw Leicester go from winning the league in march to squeaky bum time. Interested to see how it pans out. |  |

Oh they really didn't want McKenna. I don't see how Maresca is a better option - our achievement was so much more than Leicesters given their players, and they only finished a point above us. So I feel even looking at it objectively, KM would have been a stronger appointment. |  |

It’s hard to tell who they are less happy about. Maresca or their owners. Strange state of affairs for a team that won the Championship. Something not right at Leicester.
As for Maresca, he might have worked for Guardiola but that doesn’t mean he’s up to much as a manager. Bobby Ferguson was Robson’s Coach and he didn’t have a clue. Brian Kidd worked for Ferguson and was a European Cup winner under Busby, but he had no idea when it came to the big job. |  | | |

The son of the Thai owner, who inherited the club after his father died n a helicopter crash, is apparently a bit dim & has presided over Leicester's massive over-spend when in the PL, which has led to their financial problems. Nothing that a nice, hefty points deduction won't sort out! Hopefully, he'll make a terrible appointment like Frank Lampard. |  |
