I hadn't seen his highlights package before yesterday, but as soon as I watched that, I was convinced that there was something in this one.
The type of player he is seems exactly what McKenna would be looking for - his stength, his touch, his clever lay offs all fit perfectly with how he likes to set out his forwards. He also looks good when he goes wide & can play an excellent ball in to onrushing forwards.
I think he would be a decent signing for us, who could turn out to be a valuable asset by the end of the season. |  | | |

I don't know how true this all is. I want it to be true, from what we know and have seen of this guy.
But the thing that strikes me is this: it is now at least credible that we are in a transfer race with Sporting Lisbon. Not so long ago we were playing against the green of Forest Green. This sort of feeling will hit us again and again over the coming 12 months and we must enjoy it. I'd love it to continue for 12 years, but one step at a time... |  | | |
