Well, as much as any ticket seller - touting scum bastards sub human scum - can be reputable. They had revenues of 9 Billion dollars last year so I guess they’re filling a need. I just don’t get how they can advertise tickets for sale which don’t even exist yet. Loads of tickets offered in Liverpool away end, but surely there’s a ballot for tickets for all their away games.

I remember when searching for when tickets for the Bills v Jags were being released that it took me to a link to there where I could buy a ticket for £800. It gave me the block, row, seat number. All before the NFL had even confirmed the ticket arrangements lol. Let alone sold tickets to be resold.
Not to sound naive or foolish on 19:09 - Jul 11 with 2765 views | Vegtablue | Scummy Ipswich ST holders and scummy Liverpool 'ultimate members' would be my guess. If clubs were selling a small portion outside normal channels for big bucks then we'd probably know about it, and I'd be surprised if StubHub themselves have wormed their way into our stadiums and the top of away priority lists.

It’s such a racket. But whenever demand exceeds supply there will always be a buck to be made. Still LOL at the great irony of Evans in charge of us… the ticket king with his own stadium barely half full.

A season ticket holder would be too easy to track down, and therefore ban

Not to sound naive or foolish on 21:29 - Jul 11 with 2144 views | ITFCson | A lot of people seem to get their knickers in a twist when it comes to reselling tickets. But it’s a huge market which will always exist when demand is higher than demand. It’s no different to the cost of petrol during covid and many other things in life. I’ve paid silly money for Euro final tickets in the past and World Cup tickets and if someone made money from that then fair play to them. And if I had an ITFC ticket that I didn’t want and someone wanted to pay me silly money for it then I’d be a fool not to take it.

Doesn't it warm the heart to know we have created a society where sociopathic qualities make sense and you'd be "a fool" not to do the same.

Not to sound naive or foolish on 22:54 - Jul 11 with 1904 views | crouchendyachtclub | There will be a level of arbitrage here. Professional touts will be reasonably confident in being able to predict how much they can buy for locally once tickets are allocated so they’ll slap a multiplier on that and buy them if anyone is stupid enough to buy their stubhub offer. For the NFL tickets, White Hart Lane operates season tickets and at Wembley you can (could) rebuy the same seats each year, both of which have priority so it’s possible to know that you will get the same seat each year.

"Fair play" to them. Yes that's what touting is. Just fair play. If someone can find a way to grift and leverage your need to a limited resource, then fair play to them.

So if you were selling your car and its market value was £5000 and someone offered you £10000 you’d turn it down and only accept the £5k. It’d be nice if everyone in the world was as honorable as you but sadly that’s not the case.

You sound a bit of a wrong'un tbf. These people are actively marketing their tickets for extortionate amounts, and illegally so in the strict application of the law. Football touting is a criminal offence. They're also depriving proper and normal fans of the chance to watch the team, as well as manipulating priority schemes and terms of sale. I'm not sure how they'd be able to supply tickets without revealing their account name or number, as an aside, unless they're sending redacted ticket pdfs or just supplying screenshots of barcodes.
Not to sound naive or foolish on 15:33 - Jul 12 with 985 views | Facefacts | Was over working in Ireland late last year and the interest in the Premier League is astounding. Can easily see how the Liverpool and Manchester United tickets would find their way here. Other clubs less so. The 'Ipswich' tickets are really Liverpool away tickets, as you found.
