Are we doing a Paul Hurst 23:14 - Jul 12 with 5631 viewscressi

Getting what McKenna believes are the best players from the league below we are going to play in. Yes we will be better coached for sure but will we need a bit of premiership no how to get us through ?.

Add onto that list of devloping players, just remember the Omar at the start of last season, and the Omar we just paid 20 mil for

Accidentally downvoted instead of upvote. Agreed!

That earned you a DaveU downvote. Ouch.

Nothing wrong with that. We all crave one.
I remember my first.
I really felt a part of the place after that.

I believe Mick McCarthy tried that with promoted Sunderland awhile back, one of his buys was a certain Tommy Miller who had scored a hat full of Championship goals. The result was relegation.

I think there is far more Premier League experience than you are giving credit for.

Also, some of Hurst's signings proved perfectly up to the task once they were properly coached and managed.

That has been my concern. Kieran himself talked about a lack of big match experience in the squad last season, I think when we were at Elland Road, so I was expecting more Premier League experience to come in. That's not to say the players we've brought in aren't going to cut it, and so far he has a very good record in the transfer market, but it is a question mark. Perhaps we'll add a bit more Premier League savvy with later additions.

New keeper , if it is confirmed of course, helps a little with decent Premier league experience

Please don't ever mention McKenna and Paul Hurst in the same post again.

Think it'll be late in the window when squads are more known and you can see which players may fancy town over being fringe players at other prem clubs.

Some of the big sides haven't even started signing players yet and there's barely been many signings across the prem altogether so once this starts they'll begin to be a few players available.

At the moment I feel we are signing players would have a potential of a large sale fee in the future to protect against our sales output.

a niche perspective
